Single line text

The single line text field in Dittofi allows you to store a single line of text. Note, there is a character limit of 100,000 on a single line of text. If you want to add multi line or rich text, you can use the Long text field.

The single line of text is best for short bits of text such as names (first names and / or last names) or addresses.

If you find that you're repeating the same line of text multiple times, you might want to consider putting that text into another table and linking to it with the Link to another record field. Another option if you're repeating the same line of text might be to create multiple options in a Single select field.
